WEF Cabaret & Open Mic – An Evening with Ilan Evans

The WEF Cabaret & Open Mic nights are back for an 8th season at the Toulouse Lautrec venue !
WEF Productions was originally created to promote the integration of international artists on the London scene. Each month features a special up and coming guest from the world of musical theatre.

SPECIAL GUEST
Ilan Evans was born in Paris. When he was 6 years old his mother took him to the opera to see the Magic flute and his passion for music and stage has been ignited since. As a teenager ilan started modelling and went on to study law in La Sorbonne.
Ilan started singing in jazz clubs around Paris and trained as a classical singer. This is how he met his guitarist and co-composer Cyrill Jakob with whom he formed the band Eyejack
‘Eyejack‘ released their first album in 2010 with Warner music france. They supported the british band Noisettes ; and the french band Justice amongst others.
After moving to London and working with the Royal shakespare company , Ilan was cast in the French musical, ‘Gospel Sur la Colline’ at Les folies Bergere.
He trained at identity school of acting and Rada; and graduated from the Royal academy of music in Musical theatre in 2020. Ilan is currently filming a new series for Amazon and can be seen in the second season of Emily in Paris on Netflix.
