The Jazz singer from Durham has been delighting crowds for years now – raised on the likes of Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin, singing was always on the cards for Jo Harrop. 

We’re delighted to invite the Lateralize Records artist back to the Toulouse Piano bar. An unmistakable voice on the British Jazz scene, Jo has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Sunset Sunside Jazz Club in Paris, and been endorsed by Iggy Pop who called her “a very fine jazz singer.” Her blend of Jazz and folk creates a beautiful gig experience, with her original songs taking you on a journey that will tug at the heart strings and soothe your cares and worries away.  

As a session musician she has performed with icons like Rod Stewart, Gloria Gaynor and Enrique Iglesias. Her debut album, Weathering The Storm, recorded with guitarist Jamie McCredie, received rave reviews.
