Growing up at the bottom of a mountain, Blodwen couldn’t have dreamed of what lay ahead of her when she left hilly west wales for the concrete jungle…
When she discovered that the M4 went all the way to London, Land of Song born Blodwen upped sticks and headed for the concrete empire, not quite knowing what she was letting herself in for. After hilly West Wales, where one bus a week went where no one wanted to go, landing in the capital was a bit of a shock to the system.
Come along for the ride as she navigates the London Underground, flat sharing, dating and the FIVE POUND PINT! Share in her awe, her joy, and her occasional disdain (which is when she feels the most London). She may have fallen in love with the city she now calls home, but as the saying goes; you can take the girl out of Wales… Of course, it wouldn’t be the story of a Welshwoman without a song or two!
