Launching their first public performance of the new album,
"Please Do Not Ignore The Mermaid."

"Please Do Not Ignore The Mermaid" - the new album by Tara Minton is an impressionist dive deep into mermaid myth and legend with seven tracks exploring themes of identity, self-realisation and environmentalism. A jazz album with depth and a sense of expansiveness, the harp is a surprisingly powerful undertow within the ensemble, capturing the listener and sweeping them away into previously unexplored waters of sound.

"I recommend her highly, to everyone interested in an artist whose musical expression is equalled only by her warmth and integrity."
Jakez François - Director of Camac Harps

“Minton’s set was at once relaxing and strangely invigorating, a performance which danced along the line between comforting warmth and intense heat.”
Sam France - Mancunian Matters

“Tara is one of the leading contemporary harpists in Europe.”
Roslin Russell, Artistic Director of the Cambridge Jazz Festival

“Wow, wow, wow, wow. What a sensational night! Harp Bazaar were AWESOME and we loved having them at the Lantern Jazz Club.”
