EXCLUSIVE TO TOULOUSE LAUTREC JAZZ CLUB

Taking music back in time!
With Madame Mixtape’s Brand New Band

Here's a game: take a well-known tune from the last 30 years or so, and a classic dance music style from sometime between 1910 and 1960, and mix it all up. What do you get? Jitterbug Beyoncé. Bossa Nova Spice Girls. Mambo Calvin Harris. Boogie-Woogie Whitney Houston.

This is nostalgia, but not as you know it!

Influenced by the hugely successful 'Post-Modern Jukebox', Madame Mixtape brings you a sizzling line-up of tunes from the 90s, 00s and 10s reimagined and rearranged in styles from a classier, bygone era. They promise to keep you entertained and get you dancing along to tunes you know and tunes you forgot you knew, given a new lease of life and a vintage twist!

Abbey Mordue – Vocals
James Brady – Trumpet / Percussion
Tom Ridout – Reeds
James Naylor – Piano
Nick Ereaut – Double Bass
Floyer Sydenham – Drums

Madame Mixtape is the brainchild of the vivacious singer and actress, best known for her residencies at Ronnie Scott's and Soho House and her role of Kerry on The Inbetweeners, Abbey Mordue, and accomplished jazz trumpeter and winner of the 2018 Eddie Harvey Award for Jazz Arranging, James Brady.
