Bridging the gap between intimate music and rock elegance.

Paul Shine is a versatile artist with a wide original and covers repertoire. A hybrid singer and pianist moving somewhere between passionate raw delivery and melodic sensitivity.

Paul Shine is a young and tasteful singer and multi-instrumentalist based in London since 2010, currently working on individual musical projects and also performing as a cover artist. Classically trained since the age of 7, Paul received piano, flute, music theory and vocal training lessons for 10 years at his hometown Music Conservatory ‘Antonio de Cabezon’ in Burgos (Spain). For 5 years, he was also the soloist boy soprano in the same town’s cathedral choir. At the age of 15, he taught himself to play acoustic guitar, which he has ever since played mainly as an accompaniment for himself or other artists.

Determined on pursuing a musical career, he moved to London after having been involved in several pop and rock bands as a singer/pianist during his university years in Salamanca (Spain), where he studied English and Literature. Once he was established in the English capital, he started collaborating with several local emerging artists of the London music scene, having shared stage with artists like Tara Minton, Luke Bowman, Elia & The Low Tears or Dana Immanuel. In May 2014, he started performing regularly as a singer/pianist, hired by different event companies and private clients, and also as an independent musician. Currently, he works as the leader, frontman and songwriter in his originals band Dead Writers.

Paul Shine is a skilful piano player with a delicate and expressive tenor range who bases his cover repertoire on a varied assortment of all-time pop, rock and blues classics.
