All the way from Perth, Australia. Nicola Milan returns to the UK
to present another riotous, shoulder shakin' trip through the Roaring 20's

Glitz, glamour and the roaring twenties, Nicola Milan the Stray Cat Club are bringing their riotous blend of 1920's swing mixed with modern grooves and electronic elements to Toulouse Lautrec.

Liked to Caro Emerald crossed with The Cat Empire, Miss Milan transports you back to a time back to a time when cabarets were dark, martinis were dirty and the women were deadly.

Their show 'Roaring 20's Riot!' takes you on a toe tappin' frenzy through the era of the 1920's with songs about notorious characters throughout history, film noir, movies from the Golden Era and parties straight from the Roaring Twenties.

Nicola was a finalist in both the 2013 John Lennon International Songwriting Competition and UK International Songwriting Competition and is a #1 USA charting jazz vocalist following the success of her two previous releases; Little Rendezvous (2011) and Forbidden Moments (2013) and most recently her latest single ‘Crazy’.

"Witty, sophisticated and original, it is exciting to see such an intelligent and honest artist and songwriter surface in Australia."
Limelight Magazine (Australia’s premier Arts and Jazz Music Publication)

"What a delight it was to listen to Nicola’s interpretation of her own unique songs. Her backing group has every nuance down pat and the notes wafted like clouds over a blue sky as Nicola performed her magic."
Ron Knight – Jazz Fremantle 107.5FM

"Milan sings through the rest of the world with her confident alto voice, well-balanced, inside and out. She shows that she can readily compose and sing in any genre or subgenre she chooses whether the gypsy-tinged tango of “The Scent of Her Perfume” or the American stage ballad “I Begin To Understand.” Milan’s is a voice that will be unknown no longer."
