”When life throws you curveballs throw a show tune back at it."

When life throws you curveballs, throw a show tune right back at it. Here is Victoria Howden's guide to coping in this world by turning life into a musical.

Moving from straightzvill to Lesboland in her late 20's, choosing love over the norm. Loving food in a world where one is supposed to love rice cakes, mung beans and kale and growing to love an ever-expanding rear. Growing up in a land where war and terror and often on the menu, searching for my yellow brick road and almost getting run over by an F-16 aircraft in the process. -And just basically coping with life come on this musical journey and who knows you might even sing along.

Victoria is an actor, comedian, singer, improviser and storyteller with a dream of turning her life into a musical. She has been on stages ever since she learned all the words to Happy Talk from South Pacific at the age of 2.

Accalia Arts was born out of a campaign to buy Theatre Royal Haymarket, which raised over £11,000 on GoFundMe following London wide media coverage. The Festival will facilitate an inclusive female-led festival across several venues, genres, and communities.

Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club is proud to take part in this festival in a move to get more women at the forefront of this industry by celebrating female achievement, raising awareness against bias & to take action for equality to create a more gender-balanced world.
