TYPE OF EVENT : Guildhall School of Music, Jazz, Dinner Jazz

The UK is home to some of the world's finest music academies, several of them are in London and one in particular, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, is virtually on Toulouse Lautrec's doorstep. We've decided to offer GSMD postgraduates a residency they can call their own, to give our audience and us an opportunity to get to know these exceptional up and coming young players. We'll be seeing a lot of them in the future, but why wait?
Come down any Monday night and enjoy a lot of them right now.

This week Guildhall in Focus presents

Rosina Bullen (Vocals) & David Swan (Piano)

Rosina Bullen (1993) is a gifted jazz vocalist from the United Kingdom currently studying her Masters Degree at the Manhattan School of Music under Theo Bleckmann. She graduated from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, in 2018. She was the winner of the Anjool Malde Jazz Prize and was chair vocalist of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Great Britain, 2018. Rosina features with a number of ensembles across a range of different genres as well as running her own projects performing original compositions inspired by the Jazz tradition.

Please note:
Please support our Guildhall postgraduates and show your appreciation during their performances. The performing students are correct at the time of booking. Due to the importance of their diplomas there may be some last-minute changes to the advertised performance.

Accalia Arts was born out of a campaign to buy Theatre Royal Haymarket, which raised over £11,000 on GoFundMe following London wide media coverage. The Festival will facilitate an inclusive female-led festival across several venues, genres, and communities.

Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club is proud to take part in this festival in a move to get more women at the forefront of this industry by celebrating female achievement, raising awareness against bias & to take action for equality to create a more gender-balanced world.
