Expect the Unexpected !

Fierce hard-bop jousting and a fizzing mix of traditional and modern jazz! Rapid fire flights across multiple octaves and a new stamp on melodic ballads. The Quartet is led by up and coming young pianist Harry Bolt, a talent to watch and brilliantly supported by the innovative Benet McLean on violin, special guest drummer flying in from Italy Lorenzo Bonucci and award winning bass player Adam King.

Benet McLean (Violin) Arguably one of the most bewilderingly adventurous and prominent jazz violinists currently in the UK. A true polymath: pianist, guitarist, vocalist, violinist, writer, arranger and producer. Benet has more recently returned to his first instrument, the violin, fast emerging as a virtuoso violinist of extraordinary versatility.

Lorenzo Bonucci (Drums) Special guest direct from Cesena, Italy - an up and coming European drummer of choice and talent to watch out for.

Adam King (Bass) Immensely talented, Adam King has performed widely in Europe and the UK, and is one of the most sought-after young bass players around. Since winning the 2015 Young Jazz Musician Award competition, Adam has dominated the London scene, playing alongside some of the top musicians of his generation.

“ … Harry plays with soul, energy, versatility and most importantly – heart. He has an assured future in the business”
Rodney Jones, Julliard

“Finding young guys who can play this music is becoming easier, but finding your guys who can understand this music in addition, is always more of a challenge. I believe I’ve found what I’m looking for”
Clark Tracey, Award Winning British Jazz Drummer

“…His playing of Brad Meldhau’s When It Rains gave me chills… ”
Walt Weiskopf, American Jazz Saxophonist

“Something of a Prodigy, a Remarkable Young Pianist”
David Lewis of Straight Ahead, 606 Jazz Club on Solar Radio

“…Harry changes it up, playing with Real Dynamics which is a Rare thing in Jazz … ”
Arnie Somogyi, Bass
