The UK is home to some of the world's finest music academies, several of them are in London and one in particular, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, is virtually on Toulouse Lautrec's doorstep. We've decided to offer GSMD students a residency they can call their own, to give our audience and us an opportunity to get to know these exceptional up and coming young players. We'll be seeing a lot of them in the future, but why wait?
Come down any Monday night and enjoy a lot of them right now.

This week Guildhall in Focus presents

Guildhall Folk
Rosina Bullen (Vocals), Lydia Bell (Vocals) & Tom Coppin (Guitar & Vocals)

Guildhall Folk features three musicians from London with a shared love of vocal harmony and all things acoustic. They formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and whilst all three are jazz students, their style and repertoire leans heavily on the folk rock greats from the '60s such as: Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, and the Beatles. Later songwriters like Billy Joel and James Taylor are also features of their sound, as well as contemporary folk/bluegrass acts Nickel Creek and The Staves. Masterminded by criminal geniuses: Lydia Bell, Tom Coppin and Rosina Bullen, this group is sure to tug at your heartstrings and jangle you off to a different place altogether.
