Drown your Valentine's Day sorrows or share the joys of single life with your host, Evil Headmaster Dusty Limits. Prizes to be won!

About Dr Sketchy London

Dr Sketchy was founded in 2005 by artist, author and former artists model Molly Crabapple. It's a little Brooklyn event that has become a movement. Now taking place in 150 cities (and counting) around the world. See more of our Dr Sketchy creator Molly Crabapple

Opening it's doors in 2007 Dr. Sketchy London is organised by Clare Marie and hosted by Dr. Sketchy's evil headmaster Dusty Limits

Life drawing is more than just nude models and serious sketching. So we've scoured this great city to find beautiful burlesque performers, bizarre circus acts, and rippling hunks of man-flesh. Then we let them loose on stage to release the artist in you!

In between each round of sketching our larger-than-life models you get a chance to grab a drink get comfortable and take in some of the finest burlesque, comedy, music, poetry and quirky cabaret performances the big smoke has to offer.

Dr Sketchy isn't about being an amazing artist, as long as you can put pencil to paper and move it around that's good enough for us and you never know you might just unleash that artist inside.

It's what art classes would be if the class was let loose in the Moulin Rouge.

Featuring Deelee Dubé
Winner of the International Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Award 2016

Deelee Dubé (pronounced Dubé) is a one of the most gifted vocalists to have emerged from the London scene in many years. Embodying a stellar African musical lineage, the eclectic tastes of a London upbringing and a deep love and respect for the jazz tradition, Deelee possesses what Jazz Times called ‘a warm tone, genuine blues feeling and easy rhythmic authority.’

Deelee’s late father was the famed South African jazz pianist Jabu Nkosi; her grandfather another legendary figure from the country’s music scene, saxophonist and bandleader Zacks (Isaac) Nkosi. Deelee was brought up with music all around her, and formed her first band at the age of 14. She attended the BRIT School for arts and music, later studying under vocalist Clare Foster, and forming the first of many musical relationships with jazz pianist Roland Perrin.

"A beguiling soulfulness"
